Alexandria Reese is a beautiful, kind, caring, creative, and all around amazing woman. Anyone who has ever interacted with Alix, even for a few minutes, has instantly been taken in by her charm and presence. Her love of sci-fi and fantasy (yes, alix is an avid D&D player), is eclipsed only by her love of people, especially children.

An innocent victim, Alix was shot in the neck by gang crossfire shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday the 26th at the intersection of Atcheson and Trevitt streets on the east side of Columbus, Ohio while driving home with a friend. The bullet severely damaged her spinal cord, paralyzing her from the shoulders down. As she continues her journey at a rehabilitation center in Cleveland, we ask that you take the time to spread the word, make a donation, and offer her support through this very difficult time.

The intention of this page is to gather and share all present and future resources and support for Alix's case. Thanks to all the friends and family who have been tirelessly working on getting the word out there. I would encourage you all to spread the word so that we can get this amazing woman all the help and support she both needs and deserves.

Despite all that has been going on, Alix remains positive and strong, and that is in large part due to the overwhelming support from not only the Columbus scene, but from caring and compassionate people from all over the world. Her story has even reached the celebrity sphere, attracting the attention and support of Neil Gaiman, Warren Ellis, Kevin Smith, and Tim Burton. The level of support has been inspiring to say the least.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact police at 614-645-4141 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
Crime Stoppers is currently offering a $2000 reward for information leading to arrest of the shooter.
